Augina Brown
Augina is a small town girl, born and raised in the town of Cuthbert Georgia. Cuthbert is the home of many great people, but it is also the home of one traffic light, one grocery store, and one library. Some have said if you sneeze while riding through, you just might miss it.
After graduating from Randolph/Clay High School, Augina went on to Fort Valley State University, where she majored in Mass Communications with a public relations concentration. The HBCU experience helped to mold Augina even more into who she is today. Small town girl, coupled with an HBCU education, was a perfect storm. This storm produced Augina’s passion to be a part of an organization like GiveSpecific – Career Cloud, where individuals from rural towns everywhere can have access to professionals who they can relate to.
Augina now lives in Jacksonville Florida with her husband, their two amazing little girls and their Shih-Tuz. She is a stay-at-home-mom to two very active 2 and 4 year olds who have taught her many lessons about herself like only toddlers can. God, family, love, and peace are what keep Augina grounded.
